With the advent of the Australian Credit Licence requirement for Australian Brokers, it is important for all brokers to register their intent to operate under and Australian Credit Licence.

The process is quite simple and does not commit the broker to a particular path.  It simply enables the broker to express an interest in operating under the new licencing scheme.  However, if you haven't registered before the 1st of July, then the process for registration after that point is much more difficult.

Even if you believe that you will be operating under another company's licence, you must still register as an individual.

I will re-iterate that it is our intention to support all of our Vision brokers under our company ACL as credit representatives.  We believe that this will help to support our broker team both financially and administratively.

For all Vision brokers, follow these steps.  Visit the ASIC website.  Click on register for an ACL.  Make sure that you register as a natural person and not as a company etc.
